I can’t think of anything to write about tonight so you know what that means – TOP 10 LIST.
Top 10 Things I have learned since starting the Mike/Mitch Project
10 – When your wife says “if you cook I will do the dishes”, you should probably still do them from time to time.
9 – People would rather read about chocolate covered strawberries than SQL queries.
8 – You can buy beets that are not in a can. (Who knew?)
7 – Peanuts will burn and look like espresso coffee beans if you leave them in the oven for 50 minutes at 375°.
6 – Lobster costs more per pound than black market human transplant organs.
5 – If you tell your friends that it is for a blog they will bring you free caviar.
4 – There are eighteen different grocery stores in the twin cities that DON’T sell pork fatback.
3 – Sauerkraut is not the same thing as moldy cabbage.
2 – Bears are easier to kill than you would think.

If you make a mistake you can always just add more cream and butter.
In reality the best thing I have learned so far from this blog is that it is really fun to cook with my friends and family and that I know a lot of talented writers. But that just didn’t seem funny.
